POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for helping support the CDO (“Collateralized Debt Obligations”) Structures and High Yield Portfolio Managers. Duties will include: Maintain and monitor all assets and compliance tests for individual CDO structures; run and document hypothetical trade scenarios; become proficient with internal CDO models; monitor/resolve loan and high yield trade flow issues; prepare reports to monitor structural targets; work with brokers, underwriters, rating agencies, and trustees on all aspects of individual CDOs; provide monthly performance analysis for portfolios; ad-hoc reporting; oversee the pre- and post-closing account reconciliation; complete various special projects; and prepare attributions for structured and standard accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidate will possess a four-year degree in accounting, business, finance or economics and/or equivalent work experience plus one to five years of PIMCO experience. Must be detail oriented and possess strong communication skills both verbal and written. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast paced environment is absolutely essential. An advanced working knowledge of Excel, Business Objects, and advanced familiarity with SMARTS, TAPS, and Bloomberg is highly desired. If not already completed during the initial interview process, must score 90% or better on the Trade Ticket Comparison and the Compliance Assessments.
