Procurement and Contract Management (“PCM”) provides a range of procurement services that help facilitate informed procurement decisions by the firm’s business units. PCM partners with internal clients to foster a competitive and diverse supplier environment which mitigates the firm's risk and maximizes shareholder value. The group’s success is attributable to its ability to: respond to changing environments; leverage industry expertise; adopt innovative technology and implement a best practice framework of procurement processes and controls.

The Americas Technology Procurement Manager will manage and execute the technology procurement strategy and business plan for the Americas. The qualified candidate will lead the Americas Technology Procurement and Contract Management team through the successful implementation of the deliverables. The qualified candidate will be responsible for working with a cross matrix team (comprised of functional, technical, legal, financial, business area subject matter experts and the Vendor Management Office) to lead and manage strategic sourcing, procurement, as well as vendor management activities for the Technology Division.

Principal Responsibilities

Team Management
• Manage the team in their execution of the Technology deliverables; share detailed information on the strategy and business plan.
• Assign projects across the team for efficiency and/or development opportunities.
• Strengthen the team through timely evaluations of areas of development and provide opportunities for growth.

Managed Acquisitions
• Manage the full life cycle of contracts: leading vendor negotiations, performing financial analyses, ensuring the adherence to master agreements, approved suppliers, and risk management.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to financial and legal policies and procedures.
• Author and develop requirements, Statements of Work, Request for Information, Proposals, Quotes, and Service Level Agreements.
• Will also facilitate the execution of Terms and Conditions as well as various other licensing agreements.

Vendor Management
• Work with the Vendor Management Office, Technology and the Vendor Management Support Specialists to conduct quarterly reviews of strategic vendors, identify opportunities for greater commercial leverage, monitor compliance with the firm’s policies and manage the risks associated with vendor relationships.
• Develop and maintain vendor performance monitoring programs and data. Facilitate and share this information with internal customers.
• Provide leadership in supplier relationship(s), resolving & escalating problems, as well as to provide vendor performance feedback as necessary.
• Maintain the awareness of current market trends and conditions that affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing and may have operational or strategic implications for the company.

Experience / Skills

• Candidate should have prior experience in working with Technology related products and services such as servers, PC, storage area networks, switches, routers, software licenses, as well as outsourcing services
• Strong understanding of legal terms and conditions and strong negotiation skills. Coupled with extensive knowledge of business and contract law related to corporate products and services is required; with an emphasis on Technology
• Strong customer service orientation
• Solid presentation skills and creative thinking abilities
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills, outstanding communication skills, and capacity to handle multiple priorities are required
• Proven performance demonstrating flexibility, ability to prioritize, and communicate complex information clearly and concisely
• Ability to simultaneously manage a staff, manage projects, as well as to deliver as a subject matter expert
• Experience with the full life cycle of contracts required
• Minimum 7+ years strategic sourcing work experience within a corporate environment
• CPM, CTPE certification and/or MBA highly preferred
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Law
