Position Summary
The Headquarters Interiors Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the interior development of the Executive Office; from project initiation through project close-out. They will develop architectural design and construction standards to ensure best value, quality, consistency and standardization of product.
This role reports to the Americas Capital Projects Interiors Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Work closely with Planning group and the client to review approved program documents and formalize projects, particularly for the new Goldman Sachs World Headquarters project.
• Assist in the development of project scope, budget and schedule. Manage project execution to meet final budget and schedule requirements.
• Develop architectural design and construction standards, and testing/commissioning standards that provide basis of requirements for consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide project management for new construction projects, including but not limited to the executive office and client conference and dining floors for new GS World Headquarters development.
• Interpret client requests and convert into clear architectural and engineering requirements.
• Review drawings, budget, change orders with CRE Planning and Project Controls when needed.
• Manage vendors and consultants supporting projects to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Prepare monthly reports detailing project status including budget and schedule risks, opportunities, decisions required, milestones, etc.
• Coordinate with Building Operations and Technology to ensure all stakeholder requirements are completely identified and implemented.
• Coordinate best practices and lessons learned with global colleagues.

Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant design and project management experience, with 5 or more years in architectural design.
• Specific experience managing an executive office interior development project is desirable.
• Broad understanding of critical systems infrastructure, technology needs and requirements, commercial construction industry practices, construction contracts, and budget/schedule management.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate well with the firm’s executive office staff.
• Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office software and enterprise construction management software.
• Strategic thinker with strong implementation ability.
• Bachelor’s Degree in architecture. Registered Architect preferred.
